For children's birthdays, what we're asked for most is a cake in the birthday child's colour and theme: cars, princesses, dinosaurs, whatever character is popular right now. We don't work with licensed copyrighted characters, but we do recreate the colour palette, decoration and message so the cake fits the party's theme.
The most popular sponge for little ones is Vanilla or Chocolate with a Nutella or Kinder filling, though all 9 sponge options and 14 fillings are available for any age.
Birthday cakes for adults
For adult birthdays the trend is different: more understated cakes, with ribbon details, cream textures or messages poking fun at the age. The most popular flavours are Red Velvet, Coffee or Carrot with Dark Chocolate or Cream frostings.
If the number you're celebrating isn't one you fancy saying out loud, we can write it directly on the cake — or leave it off entirely. Tell us the tone you're going for (elegant, fun, discreet) and we'll carry it through to the decoration.

It's not all after-dinner birthdays. We're increasingly asked for cakes for corporate events, anniversaries, christenings, leaving parties and group celebrations — whenever the number of guests goes above the usual.
- Corporate events: anniversaries, team celebrations or client gifts. We can match the colour or message to your brand.
- Christenings and family celebrations: same process as a birthday, adapting the colour and decoration to the occasion.
- Leaving parties and large groups: cakes designed to be shared among many guests, with or without personalisation.
